Realistic Hypnobirthing for real birth
Evidence-based tools, honest guidance, and personal support to help you feel calm, confident and prepared for whatever birth brings.
Hypnobirthing courses in Wokingham and across Berkshire

What is Hypnobirthing?
Science.
Realistic Hypnobirthing isn’t about having a “perfect” birth, pretending birth doesn't hurt, or expecting everything will go to plan.
It’s about understanding how your body and mind work during birth, reducing fear and learning practical, evidence-based tools that can help you and your birth partner feel calm and in control, whatever path your birth takes.
You'll understand:
- Your choices and rights
- How your birth partner can genuinely support you
- How to make informed decisions
- How to stay calm and feel in control
Hypnobirthing is for every pregnancy and birth:
- First or next baby
- Feeling scared about giving birth
- Induction
- Caesarean
- Epidural
- IVF or high-risk pregnancy
- VBAC/HBAC
- Birth after a previous traumatic birth
It's not hippy, it's science.
The A Mother World Approach
Birth is once in a lifetime
You deserve more than a one-size-fits-all antenatal class.
My approach is personalised and realistic, giving you space to ask questions, talk honestly about how you're feeling and prepare for the birth that's right for you.
I combine personal experience with evidence based tools, helping you feel calm, confident, informed and supported.

What you'll gain
By the end of your hypnobirthing course, I want you to feel
✔ More confident about birth, rather than scared
✔ Calmer and in control, even when things feel uncertain
✔ Clear on your choices, and confident in asking questions and making decisions
✔ Prepared for plans to change, while remaining in control

FAQs
When is the best time to start Hypnobirthing?
You can start at any point in pregnancy, but most parents begin between around 20 and 34 weeks. There's still plenty you can gain if you're further along.
Is Hypnobirthing useful if i'm planning an induction or Caesarean?
Absolutely. Hypnobirthing isn't about achieving one particular type of birth. The tools, knowledge and confidence you gain can support you however your baby is born.
Should my birth partner come too?
Yes. Birth partners are a big part of my courses. They'll learn how to support you practically, help you stay calm and confident, and feel much more prepared themselves.
What's Virtual Doula support?
It's the ongoing support you get from me after your course, so you're not left trying to figure everything out alone. Depending on your package, you can ask questions, talk through appointments and decisions, and get support as your pregnancy and birth unfold.
Not sure which option is right for you?
Tell me a little about where you are in your pregnancy and what you're looking for, and I'll help you work out which option would suit you best.
